Spooky Shed + Pumpkin Patch Halloween Child Minder Group Visit

Enter the enchanting Spooky Shed for delightful mini workshops of non-scary Halloween fun tailored for children ages 3-11.

Embrace the Halloween spirit by coming along in optional costume.

Enjoy takeaway treats and explore our themed gift shop. Pumpkin included for each child. Don't forget your Wellington Boots!

Objective:

• For Child Minding Group children to visit the farm shed for a fun halloween / educational visit.

Structure & Timings:

The visit will last around  2 hours and there will be a maximum 22 children visiting on the day.

Outside pumpkin patch / straw maze will last around half an hour.  If the weather is too bad we will do a pumpkin hunt indoors.

Crafts will last around 1 - 1.5 hours.

Lunch tables provided for children to have packed lunch.  Our kitchen is easily accessible in the shed and will be available to us if required.

There is one toilet in the shed however there are also seperate handwashing facilities for 3 x children at once in the main craft shed.

Child Minding Group Photo Opportunities

Photo opportunities for your staff to take photos if they wish with the photo board and other Halloween-themed decorations. 

• • • Halloween-themed Crafts
      • Craft tables with simple Halloween-themed activities (e.g., painting pumpkins, making Halloween masks, etc.).
      • A short storytime or Halloween-themed game to keep kids entertained 
        • Take your  creations including pumpkins home  - we have lots of cardboard boxes to facilitate this.
        • Final photo opportunity with the decorations and takeaway treats.

Please note to keep things fair for all this year we are pre-collating craft materials, so each child gets their own kit which ensures there is enough for everyone.

• Teachers and carers / child minders are responsible for supervising their groups at all times
• Festive Farm Shed staff will support activities but will not be left alone with children or vulnerable adults
